Will we see him in cahoots with the "innocent" knife grinder. Huh. Who ever heard of an innocent knife grinder in a soap opera?

ADOPT A CHILD!
It's our opportunity to share in our bounty with children in our district who aren't as gifted as we are. Children will come up from the primary grades on Friday during 1st period. We'll have a party for them, Santa will come, and we'll have gifts to give them and their siblings. It's a wonderful event.

I'm asking all my students in first period to donate $10 towards gifts. For many of us this is a very modest amount, but it will add up and give these children a Christmas to remember.

We'll go shopping on Wednesday after school and wrap presents during class on Thursday.

  • Know which verb verb form goes with a given subject.
Format of Quiz
  • Given a dialog, choose the correct verb infinitive then write the correct form of the verb based on the subject of the sentence and context clues. Similar to Text p.27 Actividad 14.
  • Given a sample sentence, choose a synonym (verb with similar meaning) of the verb in the sentence and write it in the same form as the underlined verb.
  • Choose from almorzar, costar, dormir, entender, jugar, pensar, preferir, querer, repetir, servir.
